ABOUT TAMARA HATTIS

I am a poet and collage artist. In third grade, a substitute

teacher gave me a Snickers bar for being the most friendly student in class for that day

Tamara Hattis has a B. A. in Communicative Disorders and Creative Writing from the University of Redlands, where she also did her graduate work in Communicative Disorders. She has performed and participated in writing workshops and readings at the University of California at Berkeley, Idyllwild, Joshua Tree, El Rito, New Mexico, and Redlands, California. Her art and poetry have previously been published in The Sand Canyon Review, Badlands ReviewGhost Town Literary Magazine, The Deaf Poets Society, and Incandescent Mind: Editions 2 and 3 by Sadie Girl Press and Cholla Needles Magazine, issues 15, 18, and 20. Her debut full-length book, Colors of My Pain, is now available on Amazon.com
